There’s incredible power in being on the forefront of technology. Just ask the first investors of Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple. The risks we take to change the game are far outweighed by the rewards we reap by changing it. We consider disrupting and transforming the world of home building with 3D printing technology to be on-par with the disruption and transformation we’ve seen across other industries in the past several decades. We’re beyond excited to be on the leading-edge and we’re delighted to bring you with us. We know you’re busy, so we’ll get straight to your burning questions…
What will 3D printing homes do for my business?
A lot. Imagine exponentially multiplying the number of homes you can build in a year by significantly decreasing the time spent on each job-site. Imagine shaving down the number of materials and eliminating materials waste while building safer, more durable homes for your clients. Imagine streamlining your crews by eliminating the need for carpenters, roofers, sheet-rock layers, and the subsequent losses due to scheduling issues and labor shortages. Imagine providing modern, luxurious family homes designed to resist the most aggressive natural disasters, while utilizing sustainable materials and honoring the environment on which you build.
Joining the We Print Houses family of builders will fundamentally transform the way you do business, from increasing the number of homes you can build to raising the standard of safety, sustainability and durability of the homes that bear your company name.
What are the perks of being an early adopter?
Micro-perk: first 25 licensees of the We Print Houses system will enjoy area exclusivity for one year, starting from the day they receive their equipment. These early adopters will be the first 3D home printers in their region and will enjoy exclusive access to home buyer leads in the area.
Macro-perk: 3D printing homes is the future. Being the first one in your city or state to recognize the future, learn the technology and start producing these thoughtful, beautiful, disaster resistant homes, will make you a leader and standard-bearer in your market. As an early adopter and industry front-runner, you will benefit from earned media attention and opportunities to demonstrate your thought-leadership, which will elevate the profile of your business, generating new interest and capturing new clients.
How hard is it to learn this technology?
The We Print Houses system is no more difficult to master than any other piece of equipment you’ve used throughout your building career. That said, we put a premium on thorough and extensive training that covers every aspect of the build, along with maintenance, trouble shooting, geopolymer concrete mixing, and education across the design choices and additional materials chosen for durability and sustainability.
What is the education/certification process?
We Print Houses conducts a two-week training on a build-site in Texas, where We Print Houses licensees will gather for a combination of classroom education and hands-on training building an actual 3D printed home. Each participant will enjoy a significant amount of experiential training in mixing, pumping, robotics control and repair as well as processes and procedures. In addition, we will provide hands-on-training in every aspect of breaking down, cleaning and maintaining the equipment, as well as running through maintenance and trouble-shooting scenarios to empower each builder to feel confident in their mastery of the technology.
At the end of the training, each builder will be ready to employ the We Print Houses system in their business and feel comfortable communicating the incredible benefits of a 3D printed home to their clients and associates.
Each Licensee will receive this fourteen-day training for two members of their team. As a part of the training, We Print Houses will provide a single hotel room and a small stipend for meals not included on the job site, and all documents and training materials included in the curriculum.
What does it cost to license the We Print Houses system?
Licensing the WPH 3D printable home system costs $450,000, which includes shipping of the equipment within the Continental United States.
How quickly can I get my system?
Our manufacturing and delivery time is currently 120 days.
Does We Print Houses Provide Financing?
We do not. Builders ready to incorporate this technology into their business should be in a position to invest in this equipment, either on their own, or with the support of financial institutions with whom they have relationships with.
We find that lenders are excited about supporting the WPH system, as it’s not only a cutting-edge “piece of equipment,” but one that will help builders escape an outmoded business model and increase their profit and productivity.
What does it mean to be “in the family”?
We are not selling a piece of technology. We’re starting a movement. We want to put hard working families into modern, beautiful, sustainable homes that can withstand natural disasters, and be passed down through generations. We want to see disaster sites rebuilt in a way that lets people living on our coasts, and in our forests enjoy the beauty of their land without fearing for their lives.
To support this movement means to support each builder who joins our family, not just with the training and technology, but through holistic support which will grow as our network of builders grows. Here are some of the ways we’ve got your back:
- A Library of Plans: We’ve spent a significant amount of time and care creating a set of plans for 3D printable homes designed to meet International Standards as well as the standards of modern, sustainable luxury. All WPH builders will have access to these plans, and a growing library of plans that will be created by the WPH team as well as submitted by builders. Builders will have an opportunity to generate additional income by submitting their plans for other builders to license. These small licensing fees will save home buyers the exorbitant costs of working with an architect to create plans from scratch and help builders move the process forward at lightning speed.
- Buying Power: We Print Houses mixes and distributes the geopolymer concrete and services our builders through rail-shipping. As our family of builders grows, we can further stabilize costs by manufacturing materials in multiple regions. Furthermore, we work diligently with our partners to secure group buying power for materials such as Sudaglass Basalt Rebar, RenewAire Energy Recovery Systems, Porcelanosa tile, kitchen and bath fixtures and more.
- Marketing & Lead Generation: We are committed to helping We Print Houses licensees grow awareness and demand for 3D printed houses in their area. We will do this by incorporating builders into our own marketing channels and utilizing the best digital marketing, SEO, and earned media strategies to educate and excite home owners about this incredible, cutting-edge technology. As we generate more and more qualified leads of interested home buyers, we will match those potential buyers with We Print Houses builders in their area.
I’m still on the fence. Is there someone I can talk to about this?
Absolutely. Being on the leading-edge of an industry takes risk, and we want each builder in our family to feel like that risk is a well-informed and well-calculated one. Any builder interested in moving forward with this process is encouraged to speak directly with our founder, Larry Haines. Just go to the “Book a Meeting” section of our website, enter your information and preferred time, and we’ll set up a one-on-one video chat between you and Larry.
Larry will directly support all licensees through their training and beyond and has designed the WHP system to provide holistic support to builders across all aspects of the business. We understand that for this technology to reach its potential to transform the industry, each of our builders, and each of their homes must be a case-study of success. Our mission is to ensure that success so that this technology becomes widespread, increasingly affordable, helps us tackle the challenges of rebuilding after disasters, and makes home ownership accessible again.
